Capturing the Spirit:
Western Art by Jakob

Dive into Jakob’s Inspiring Art Creations

About Jakob

Jakob is a contemporary British artist based in Northern Ireland. After five years of creating pop art with heavy Japanese influences, he switched from acrylic to oil and pop art to realism at the beginning of 2024. After becoming inspired by western art at the beginning of the year he dedicated his time to learning an entirely new style with foreign tools and mediums to expand his diversity as an artist which ultimately lead to finding his new style.

During his career as an artist, Jakob has showcased his work in multiple exhibitions across London and featured in shows across Europe and Japan. His work has aroused the interest of collectors worldwide and continues to attract eyes and spark deep emotional responses in his audience.

After an encounter with Jesus in 2018 the direction of Jakob’s work changed significantly as he created the character “Trill kid” which would be used to occasionally share biblically inspired messages in the pop art scene. Since branching out into realism, his new aspiration is to portray the glory of God through creation itself, composing awe inspiring and profoundly beautiful compositions, bringing together elements of creation including wildlife, landscapes, cloud formations and mankind in various times of history to point towards the artistic nature and the extensive beauty of the creator of all things.
